2010 Summer Day Camps The Shelby County Conservation Board will once again be offering summer day camps this year. The camps will follow the same format as last year. All of the camps will be one day in length. They will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nishna Bend Recreation Area. These camps will involve hands-on learning using activities, games, and outdoor exploration. Parents are responsible for the transportation of their child(ren) to and from camp. The cost per child is $10.00 for the three younger ages groups and $15.00 per child for the Outdoor Adventure Camps. This money will be used to cover the cost of snacks and supplies for the camps. Snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own lunch to camp to the three younger age groups. Lunch will be provided for the Outdoor Adventure Camps. Each camp is limited to twelve children (fifteen for the Outdoor Adventure Camp), unless there are volunteers. Children may only sign up for one camp, because the content will be the same in each camp. We are looking for volunteers to help with the camps. Please contact Christina at the Conservation Board Office if you are interested or need more details. The Camps
