Sandhill Crane Bus Trip. Sunday, March 22 and Monday, March 23. The cost of the trip is $170 which include transportation, lodging, admission to ROWE Sanctuary, the Archway Monument, and Fort Kearney. We will be view cranes from blinds at ROWE Sanctuary. Deadline for the trip is February 21. Please contact Christina to sign up or for more information.

Bald Eagle Program. Monday, April 13, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at Nishna Bend. The program will feature one of our live education eagles. Everybody is welcome!

Dutch Oven Cooking. Monday, April 20, 5:30 p.m. at Nishna Bend Nature Center. Another Dutch Oven cooking class is being offered due to popular demand. This class will feature new recipes. Please call Iowa Western Community College to sign up at 712-755-3568. The cost of the class is $10 to cover supplies and we will eat what we cook.
